Our stories today take us away to a snowy mountainside and a cabin tucked into the trees. We’ll follow the bookseller as she rides the funicular and settles in at her cabin, then treks out to the chalet for tea and stunning views in parts one and two of Winter Getaway. Then, in part three, we’ll let Chef take over the narrative as they prepare a simple bowl of something warm and comforting to share in their kitchen.

Stories for the New Year

Our stories today start with a of couple friends, thinking back on what they’ve shared in the past year and an idea for a way to start the next one in Over the Fence. Then early on New Year’s Day, they’re joined by a few others around the bonfire as the sun comes up, to share a cup of kindness in Auld Lang Syne. Finally, in Clean Slate, we’ll stake out a room of one’s own and fill it with things that are useful or beautiful, or both.

Holidays in the City, on the Farm, and at Home

Our stories today honor some holiday traditions, new and old, starting with City Sidewalks, where we will meet up with friends for a merry evening downtown. Next we travel out to the country and visit Weathervane Farm and their barn full of rescued goats and donkeys. Finally, we’ll settle in front of the Christmas tree early on Christmas Eve and think of those dear to us, on their way near to us.
